Macro Photography With Still Life Objects

I love still life macro photography. It’s really fun to get creative with still life objects. I struggle a lot of the time to find the right thing to focus on but I’m always happy with the results once I figure it out. I found these objects during my photo excursion. A few of these items belonged to either my classmates or professor but I thought that they were all really cool.

Like I said in my last post, light is a really important component when it comes to macro photography. I also had LED lights on these objects, otherwise macro photos come out really dark if there’s not a lot of light on them.  I had my camera settings at ISO 800 f/11 and a shutter speed of 1/125. In post I added some adjustment layers just to get some cool effects on my pictures but I didn’t do too much to them.
